From the Yirgacheffe’ region (which is located in the Sidamo region) comes this amazing offering! The finest coffee we have had the honor of bringing to you. It blew us away in cupping with its berry aroma, blueberry/strawberry flavor, deep, rich, clean mouthfeel. Wonderful. This coffee won the Pacific Coast Cupping Competition, is highly sought after and is commanding quite a premium.
A Natural Processed coffee, which means the beans are left in the cherries to dry instead of stripped from the cherry, washed and the beans left to dry in their parchment skin. Most coffees from the Yirgacheffe’ area are washed, the natural coffees absorb more of the sugars and flavor from the mucilage and cherry but are harder to sort. These folks did an amazing job in every facet of the cultivation, harvest and processing of this coffee. Oh the love.
